Who We Are
A name we have chosen for a very specific and important reason. We want our kids to EVOLVE as people and not just as performers.
Mentality is arguably the most important aspect of performing. You can have all the talent in the world, but if the mental well-being isn’t being looked after, talent can be often overlooked or overshadowed.
To introduce ourselves, our names are Matthew and Clair and we are the Evolve Theatre Academy Principals. We have trained professionally and performed in the West End, National Tours and across the world for a total of over 25 Years and will endevour to share that knowledge and experience with our students.
We are a Rugby based Theatre School and we were founded in January 2023 and have grown to just over 100 students in under a year. The reason we founded Evolve, was to try and shake some of the negative emotions and experiences that can come with the performing world, by shaping their positive ones from an early age. Hopefully showing that ultimately Positivity beats Negativity.
